Glympse is a convenient app that allows you to temporarily share your real-time location with various contacts such as family, friends, and coworkers. It provides a visual answer to the question, "Where are you?" Glympse empowers individuals and businesses to share real-time locations securely and temporarily, regardless of the type of mobile device they have.

The app utilizes the GPS capability in your phone to enable two methods of location sharing:

<ol>
 <li>Via a web-based map for a predetermined period with anyone you choose, even those without the Glympse app.</li>
 <li>Within the Glympse app for a predetermined period with other users who have the app downloaded.</li>
</ol>

Sharing your location is referred to as "sending a Glympse." When you send a Glympse, recipients receive a link via text message that allows them to view your location on a map in real-time using any web-enabled device. The duration of sharing is under your control.

With Glympse, you can easily inform friends that you are on your way to meet them, request a Glympse from a colleague running late for a meeting, or set up a Glympse Tag for activities like biking club outings or local Santa parades. The recipients can access your Glympse from any web-enabled device without needing to sign up or download the app.

Glympse Private Groups: This feature allows you to create invite-only private groups within Glympse. Group members have control over who can join. All members can share their locations and request the locations of others, with the information visible only within the group. Private Groups are ideal for sharing with family, carpools, sports teams, and groups of friends.

Glympse Tags: With Glympse Tags, you can quickly view and share location information with multiple friends on a single, shared Glympse map. Tags are public spaces, similar to Twitter hashtags, where anyone knowing the tag name can view the map and add themselves. For example, you can view maps of people who have chosen to join tags like "#SmithFamilyReunion" or "#SeattleCyclingClub".

Glympse Premium Tags: Glympse Premium Tags offers premium customization options to personalize and brand the Glympse experience. You can upload your logo and branding elements, map out planned routes with designated stops, and more. This feature is ideal for events such as community parades, Santa parades, food trucks, marathons, and much more.
